Blue Water Brings Coding into BOOTCAMP-On the road to you, 2.0
Greenbelt, Maryland (PRWEB) July 22, 2015 -- Blue Water, a digital agency located in Greenbelt, Maryland, is pleased to announce the second of no-cost “BOOTCAMP-On the road to you, 2.0” educational seminars for Service Members, Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Military Spouses, and Military Retirees.
The second BOOTCAMP seminar, “Introduction to HTML and CSS: Basic Coding Language to Establish Your Website”, will be held on August 19, 2015 from 6:00pm to 8:00 p.m. at Blue Water Headquarters. Attendees will learn the building block used by web browsers, Hyper Text Mark-up Language (HTML), and the code that controls the look and layout of websites, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). With this foundation, attendees will then be able to recognize the tools and skillset needed to create a web presence from scratch.
Richmond Page, a Frontend Developer at Blue Water and former Professor of Interactive Design at the Maryland Institute College of Art, will instruct the BOOTCAMP seminar. He has over eighteen years of experience in frontend development, content management systems, and web design.
BOOTCAMP seminars are free of charge to Service members, Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Military Spouses, and Military Retirees of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and U.S. Coast Guard. Proof of military status will be required for admittance into BOOTCAMP seminars. Eligible participants can register at http://www.bwm.com/bootcamp.
