The Marine Corps Association & Foundation Hosts the 5th Annual Intelligence Awards Dinner in September
Arlington, Virginia (PRWEB) August 17, 2015 -- The Marine Corps Association & Foundation, in coordination with Brigadier General Michael Groen, Director of Marine Corps Intelligence, will host the 5th Annual MCA&F Intelligence Awards Dinner on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Crystal Gateway Marriott Hotel in Arlington, Virginia.
The dinner serves as the opportunity to recognize the professional achievements of the top performing Marine leaders in the Marine Corps intelligence community during 2014. The evening will start with a no-host reception at 6:00 pm with dinner following at 7:00 pm.
The Dinner’s guest speaker, General John M. Paxton, Jr., will address dinner guests on the accomplishments of and the challenges facing the Marine intelligence community and
Marine Air Ground Task Forces in today’s dynamic environment and will help present the evening’s awards.
The awards include the LtCol Michael D. Kuszewski Award for Outstanding Marine Corps Intelligence Officer, the MGySgt Samuel C. Plott Award for Outstanding Intelligence Staff Noncommissioned Officer, the MSgt Charles C. Arndt Award for Outstanding Intelligence Noncommissioned Officer, the LCpl James E. Swain Award for Outstanding Intelligence Enlisted Marine, the Mr. John J. Guenther Award for Outstanding Marine Corps Intelligence Civilian, Language Professional of the Year Award, Command Language Program of the Year, The MajGen Michael E. Ennis Award for Literary Excellence, Director of Intelligence Innovation Award and the Director of Intelligence Unit of the Year Award.
