Former Chief of Dermatology at Darnall Joins Dermatology Associates of Central Texas
Waco, Texas (PRWEB) July 22, 2015 -- Starting August 3, 2015, Russell S. Rowe, MD, MBA, FAAD, FAAFP, will Join Dermatology Associates of Central Texas in a new location to better serve the residents of Waco. Dr. Rowe is board certified in Family Medicine and will use his 22 years of experience to benefit his patients.

As a Board Certified Dermatologist and Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, his knowledge of dermatology will continue to serve patients throughout the community.
Dr. Rowe is a graduate of Baylor College of Medicine and did a transitional internship at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI, followed by a Family Medicine Residency at Martin Army Community Hospital in Ft. Benning, Georgia and a Dermatology Residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. For the past few years Dr. Rowe has served as Chief of Dermatology at Darnall Army Medical Center at Ft. Hood.
“My 22 years in military medicine has taken me all over the world,” says Dr. Rowe. “I had the distinct privilege of taking care of our amazing service members. But behind every successful mission is the community that supports it, so I am now very eager to serve all those who have been our foundation here at home.”
Dr. Rowe’s career in the US Army spanned numerous positions, including:

• Commander and Medical Director, US Army Health Clinic, Livorno Camp Darby, Italy
• Chief of Aviation Medicine, Ft. Eustis, VA
• Division Surgeon, Ft. Campbell, KY
• Command Surgeon, Stuttgard, Germany
• Dermatology Resident, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, D.C.
• Chief of Dermatology, Darnall Army Medical Center, Ft. Hood
Dr. Rowe will use this career transition as an opportunity to provide patients of all ages
exceptional skin health. He brings his passion for medical excellence and patient
