Summer 2015 Rankings of the Best Core HR Software, Based on User Reviews
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) July 21, 2015 -- The updated Grid℠ report for core human resources software, published today by business software review site G2 Crowd, ranks eight products to help purchasers in their selections.
UltiPro and Workday were named Leaders in the report, receiving strong customer satisfaction scores with a large market presence. Dayforce and BambooHR were named High Performers, earning strong customer satisfaction marks with smaller market presence scores. UltiPro earned the highest overall Satisfaction and Market Presence scores.
The Grid℠, created from G2 Crowd’s software review platform, factors in customer satisfaction reported by users, along with vendor market presence determined from social and public data to rank products. The Summer 2015 report is based on more than 240 reviews written by business and HR professionals.
Core HR platforms automate the systems and processes of organization management, expense management, salary structures, benefit administration and time tracking. These systems are primarily used to manage the essential elements of each employee’s records. HR professionals benefit from core HR software systems, as it gives them the ability to manage and engage employees at scale.
Of the more than 60 software vendors listed in G2 Crowd’s Core HR Software category, the ranked products each received 10 or more reviews to qualify for inclusion on the Grid℠.
Across all core HR software, reviewers reported the product they use meets their requirements at an average rate of 81 percent, and on average reviewers said they were 78 percent likely to recommend the product they use. Products appearing on the Core HR Grid℠ for the first time are SuccessFactors and Dayforce.
BambooHR performed well in categories with relatively low averages, including 86 percent satisfaction for Customization, and 88 percent for Integration APIs. (Both categories had averages of 73 percent satisfaction.)
While Customization and Integration API features were the lowest-rated on average (both at 73 percent satisfaction), BambooHR performed well in both, with 86 percent and 88 percent satisfaction.

Satisfaction rankings are generated from the user reviews, and market presence is calculated from vendor size, market share, and social impact. Based on a combination of these scores, each software solution is categorized as a Leader, High Performer, Contender, or Niche.
