MustHaveMenus the leading online menu design platform, is now providing a significant revenue-generating tool for restaurants - online ordering. Restaurant managers will be able to activate ordering for menus already stored in the MustHaveMenus system. The menus are accessible on websites or smartphones, and can take payment and confirm orders during restaurant hours.

“Online ordering allows MustHaveMenus’ members to easily and cost-effectively tap into the growing demand by consumers to order meals online,” says its CEO, Jim Williams. “We’ve helped thousands of restaurants design menus with our online tools, so it’s very exciting now to enable these menus for ordering. In addition to helping restaurants save time and effort managing menus, now we want to help them grow the bottom-line.”

Studies show that 69% of consumers are already using mobile devices to order food online. Additionally, mobile ordering adds as much as 30% to each ticket order total, driving an overall increase of 11% in revenue. Millennials, ages 18-34, are the largest users of mobile/online ordering, today.

“We want to be the company that makes mobile ordering easy and affordable for the hundreds of thousands of mom-and-pop restaurants across the U.S.,” added Williams.

MustHaveMenus is hand-selecting customers to participate in a limited release of its online ordering system.

Robert VanDiest, owner of La Polleria, said, “I can’t wait to have MustHaveMenus’ online ordering capability on my restaurant’s website. They already manage my menus so I won’t have to worry about re-entering data or managing menus in two places.”

The company is also offering special marketing and website integration support to participants of the limited release program.

“This is a natural evolution from our menu design service for our customers,” Rafael Tinoco, Product Manager for Online Ordering, explains. “They’ve already entered their menu data, so our development team worked on leveraging that data to create online and mobile ordering. It’s easy to launch the ordering service, and easy to keep ordering menu items in-sync with in-house menus or the inventory of the kitchen.”
