Webgility Inc., the leading provider of e-commerce software for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), is thrilled to welcome e-commerce industry leader and former Bigcommerce President and Chief Revenue Officer, Steven Power. Effective immediately, Power will act as executive advisor to Webgility during the start-up’s next phase of product development and fundraising. Webgility and Power join forces behind a mission to build the next generation of business intelligence tools for e-commerce companies with software that streamlines complex business workflows and provides financial insights to help SMBs profit.

Power brings more than 18 years of senior executive level experience to Webgility, including a shared passion for making it easier for SMBs to realize their sales goals amid the complex, competitive landscape of the e-commerce world. Power’s achievements in the online marketplace include being part of the team which grew Bigcommerce from a start-up to an incredibly successful e-commerce platform that serves over 95,000 merchants in 150 countries generating $4B in GMV.

Power credits his Australian upbringing for his passion for helping e-commerce startups and for his admiration for Webgility’s goals, “As an Aussie, you like to help the guy who’s just starting out. Webgility makes it easy for companies to sell on multiple channels and streamline their back office as they grow,” said Power. “That really interests me. Accounting, inventory control, shipping, and taxes are complex problems for SMBs, and Webgility—and its leader Parag—have a really exciting and inspirational vision to solve for it.”
