The new RMT Club® patent pending design features a soft, durable club head with an internal shifting weight affixed to a rigid handle - opening the door to a number of new opportunities in movement patterns and application.

The ability to absorb maximum impact and swing in multiple directions with dynamic resistance opens up so many avenues for application.

David Weck, the inventor of the BOSU® Balance Trainer and creator of WeckMethod™, officially debuts his latest training modality, the WeckMethod RMT Club®. Made in the USA, the RMT Club® is designed to integrate and strengthen the body from head to toe. Its core application is used for improving functional strength, rotational power, mobility, coordination, core strength, conditioning and balance.

The RMT Club® is the first product to incorporate a soft, durable club head with a rigid handle, giving it the ability to withstand high intensity exercises including ground strikes and high intensity swings in all directions. It also incorporates an internal shifting weight for dynamic resistance and audible feedback that can be used to create and cue fluid movement patterns (no sound) or intense resistance when changing direction (sound).

“One of the key features which makes the RMT Club® so unique is the marriage of the soft club head and hard handle,” says Weck. “The ability to absorb maximum impact and swing in multiple directions with dynamic resistance opens up so many avenues for application." Unlike a kettlebell, dumbbell, or other similar equipment, the RMT Club® absorbs and dissipates impact, it’s soft on the body, and the handle’s design allows for swings in every direction.

The RMT Club® was conceived using three main WeckMethod principles: Rotational Movement Training® (RMT) - the ability to maximize efficient rotational power throughout the body; Non-Dominant Side Training™ - improving the non-dominant side of the body to minimize deficiencies; and One Tension Training™ - establishing correct tension throughout the body by removing tensional restrictions, allowing you to load the ground with more power and efficiency during athletic movement.

“We develop products based on how we train, specifically what features are needed to enhance and improve our training philosophies,” Weck says. "We designed the RMT Club® to tell the truth…if you are off balance, it will let you know…if you’re weak on one side, it will let you know…if you do not have tensional balance, it will let you know. The Club points out these deficiencies and then corrects them by unifying, strengthening, and coordinating movements.”

The RMT Club® is now available online and through many fitness equipment distributors. Instructional training courses and exercise videos for the RMT Club® can be found online at http://ow.ly/Q31oh
