"In America" is a series working to bring Americans new advancements and basic info they need to know on a variety of topics. A comprehensive overview of different subject matters allows viewers to learn about the important subjects impacting consumers today, and features content providers that are experts in various industries.

James Earl Jones' rich voice will be highlighting a new segment on advancements in foot surgery and how that's impacted doctors, patients, the economy and national health matters. With people living longer and longer, the amount of arthritis and other foot ailments have meant more attention paid to the health and safety of the foot. The longer people can walk, the better off our society will be. Millions of Americans suffer from bunions, corns, plantar fasciitis and tendon/joint problems, and it's helped podiatry thrive as a profession. Surgery helps correct these painful and often debilitating conditions, and helps people get the quality of life back that they deserve. They work on athletes, adults and children to get the back up on their feet. Get the facts and statistics about common treatments, insurance coverage and where the field is going today.
