Smart Circle Raises over $5 Million for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
New York, New York (PRWEB) July 27, 2015 -- Smart Circle International, LLC (Smart Circle) and RGS Labs International reached a new fundraising milestone in its support of the nation’s highest rated breast cancer organization, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). Smart Circle and RGS Labs have created the FW1 Pink Promotion where $0.50 per can of the FW1 products distributed at participating in-person demonstration events in the U.S. is donated to the BCRF. Since 2013, this program has generated $5 million dollars to fund breast cancer research projects around the nation.
On July 23, Smart Circle team members and several of its independent corporate distributors presented the $5 million check to BCRF and its president, Myra Biblowit celebrating this significant landmark in their support of funding breast cancer research.
“It is a privilege to be a part of the FW1 Pink Promotion, and I am proud to be a part of a program that demonstrates the power of teamwork, passion and philanthropy that has resulted in a cumulative donation of $5 million to BCRF,” said Lori Wright, Smart Circle’s FW1 National Sales Manager.
“Smart Circle and RGS Labs are a model of corporate philanthropy, cause marketing and engaging with consumers and their employees around a cause that impacts millions of women and men daily,” stated Myra Biblowit, BCRF’s President. “Thanks to the generosity of Smart Circle’s customers, independent corporate distributors and employees, BCRF is able to fund the game changers committed to tackling one of the world’s greatest health challenges.”
The FW1 Pink Promotion for BCRF is helping to fund innovative breast cancer research at leading medical and academic institutions, including Yale University School of Medicine (New Haven, CT), University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI), Mayo Clinic Cancer Center (Rochester, MN), NYU School of Medicine (New York, NY), University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute (Pittsburgh, PA), Vanderbilt University School of Medicine (Nashville, TN) and the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center (Houston, TX).

About the Breast Cancer Research Foundation
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) advances the world's most promising research to eradicate breast cancer. Founded by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1993, BCRF has raised more than $560 million to fuel discoveries in tumor biology, genetics, prevention, treatment, survivorship and metastasis, making it one of the largest non-governmental funders of breast cancer research in the world. This year, BCRF is investing $58.6 million in research, to support more than 235 researchers at leading medical institutions across six continents, including $11.6 million to the international Evelyn H. Lauder Founder’s Fund focused on metastasis. Since 1993, BCRF-funded researchers have been deeply involved in every major breakthrough in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship. By spending 91 cents of every dollar on research and public awareness programs, BCRF remains one of the nation's most fiscally responsible nonprofits. BCRF is the only breast cancer organization with an "A+" from CharityWatch, and has been awarded Charity Navigator’s highest rating of four stars 13 times since 2002.
