XL Hospice Announces Company Name Change to Signature Hospice
Wilsonville, Oregon (PRWEB) July 26, 2015 -- XL Hospice announced today that it will begin using Signature Hospice as its corporate name. In 2014, XL Hospice was purchased by Signature Hospice, a privately owned regional leader of hospice care for seniors throughout Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho and Wyoming. Through this purchase, XL Hospice aligned with Signature Hospice, Home Health and Home Care--a larger organization focused on quality care, service line development, and technological health care advancements

The purchase of XL Hospice by Signature Hospice was a direct response to the increasing demand of the nation’s aging population to receive end-of-life care and post-acute services in the comfort of a private residence. The improved market reach and combined expertise and resources of the two health care companies have increased their abilities to provide improved care while reducing unnecessary emergency room visits and hospital re-admissions.

The acquisition added 66 hospice employees to Signature Hospice, Home Health and Home Care’s approximately 1,050 staff associates and hundreds of volunteers.
