The mandate focused on improving efficiencies by eliminating manual email pricing processes, with an electronic platform to support requests for quote/execution to an extensive panel of trading counterparties and a wide universe of product payoffs. To date, no current structured products platform has gone live with such an extensive panel of counterparties and coverage of product offerings.
Unique elements of this initiative include streamlining workflows between RMs and dealers, and between dealers and issuers. This involved normalising communication standards across many global issuers not just for quotes/requests for execution, but also processes, documentation & events during the pre-trade-post trade lifecycle with a comprehensive electronic workflow supported across structured products and note/OTC derivatives payoffs.
