Our call is out to everybody that reads or hears about our endeavor. We just need people to take the time and the initiative to give us a helping hand. This event has become bigger than us as a Hotel and individuals.

The Holiday Inn Westbury has some great sponsors supporting their efforts to raise funds for Angela's House. Current sponsors include Long Island Business News, Accommodations Plus International, Anton Media Group and KDV Law. Long Island Business News and Anton Media Group are media sponsors, and are assisting the Holiday Inn Westbury and Angela's House in spreading the word, and bringing overall awareness of the fundraising event. Accommodations Plus International and KDV Law have generously become Platinum sponsors, and have assisted the Hotel in meeting their goal of raising over $10,000 for Angela's House, and the children and families they assist, which is approximately 600 throughout Long Island.
The Holiday Inn Westbury will be investing approximately $10,000 to host their special event to benefit Angela's House, as the event will be a spectacular one for all in attendance. None of the money the Hotel receives will be kept or pulled from. All of the money collected on behalf of Angela's House will go directly to them after the event.
The Hotel's management team and their dedicated line employees are all participating in the planning and execution of the event. The Hotel has created and sent out thousands of mailing and flyers, e-mail blasts, and have gone door to door in an attempt to get sponsors, attendees, donation, raffle prizes, etc. Members of the Hotel's team have also been participating in other events with Angela's House, as they are working closely with Robert Policastro, the founder of Angela's House to learn all they can about the organization and their needs for the families and children that are the beneficiaries. Most recently the Hotel's Director of Operations, Kushank Gupta, and the Hotel's General Manager, Franklin Manchester participated in two very special events. One was at White Post Farms in Melville, Long Island where they had a chance to meet many of the families and children of Angela's House, and another was the Angela's House Annual Fishing Fundraiser out of Captree, Long Island. A Holiday Inn Westbury team of 14 will be participating in the Angela's House Walk on September 13th, just days prior to their own event.
The Hotel's General Manager, Franklin Manchester was asked what the Hotel needs the most to ensure a successful event. He stated that they are in need of more sponsors on all levels, but he also added, "One of the things we would like to see and would be greatly appreciated is the donation of goods and services for raffle prizes. We want to host an exciting auction on the evening of our event, and having a wide array of donated goods and services would assist us with that. We would love to see companies from all over participate. It's not limited to just Long Island based companies, and there are so many offerings one can make to help make a difference. Our call is out to everybody that reads or hears about our endeavor. We just need people to take the time and the initiative to give us a helping hand. This event has become bigger than us as a Hotel and individuals. This is an opportunity to change the way children live their lives. Each of us can assist with improving the quality of life a child has that suffers from and illness that unfortunately impacts that on a daily basis."
