Four Industry Professionals Address Benefits of Construction Technology
Carol Stream, Ill. (PRWEB) July 28, 2015 -- How can contractors move to new technology solutions? Should construction companies move estimating processes to cloud technology? What are common pain points that need to be addressed? Four highly respected construction industry professionals will speak about the value and benefits they have experienced at Constructech’s Technology Day event.
This year’s Constructech Technology Day being held on August 27 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Schaumburg will host four construction experts to discuss best practices for successful technology integration. Jeremy Green, president, Performance Drywall; Paul Godwin, BIM/central estimating manager, Marek Brothers; and Phil Guthrie, vice president, Master Plaster, will share their personal experiences on moving forward with technology and trying new solutions. The panelists will relate personal stories of dealing with challenges and software adopted.
In addition, Cecilia Padilla, CEO, On Center Software, will lead the panel discussion with Green, Guthrie, and Godwin. Padilla brings more than a quarter of a century of real world experience to On Center’s construction software technology solutions.
“We’re looking forward to presenting the Constructech audience with real world insights from a cross section of construction professionals when we discuss findings from our 2015 On Center Technology Survey at the Constructech Tech Day event,” says Padilla. “These panelists will provide their own stories on technology adoption and provide true insights behind the data. Attendees will learn the types of issues that construction companies have faced in managing projects, how they coped with these issues in the past, and what factors lead to the solutions they selected.”
Constructech, Editor, Laura Black, says, “We are excited to have this panel of speakers at Technology Day address the challenges and pain points in the construction industry and how software can help improve business processes. These panelists will relate personal stories that will help educate others in the space.”
Peggy Smedley, editorial director, Constructech, adds, “What makes this panel so special is the caliber of the panelists coupled with the vision of the moderator. This will surely be one of the highlights of Technology Day. These speakers are very outspoken about technology and they have a lot to say about the direction estimating tools are headed within their companies and within the industry as a whole.”
