Hot Dog Marketing, a local boutique marketing and consulting agency, is fast approaching their 200 client milestone after continuous growth and continued dedication to the small businesses of the Austin-Round Rock area. To better serve new and existing clients, the agency has named Brandon Cornwell as permanent Creative Director who will oversee the graphic and web design department. This comes in response to the 100 clients that the agency has taken on in the past year alone.
As Creative Director, Cornwell will oversee the timely development and execution of all designs and materials relating to graphic, web and digital for the agency and associated clients. With his new duties, Cornwell will be able to offer extra dedicated support for businesses seeking a stronger one-on-one connection when it comes to their marketing efforts by providing the same excellent quality level of service that Cornwell has helped the agency establish since his start date of late 2013. Hot Dog Marketing was created specifically to assist and guide small businesses who don’t always have the marketing budget of larger companies.
“I am beyond excited to have Brandon here,” Jessica Scanlon said. “In 2014 alone, Hot Dog Marketing was able to help 91 local businesses realize their potential by providing digital marketing, public relations, and consulting services. I place a heavy emphasis on giving our clients excellent customer service, and with Brandon now as Creative Director we can double-down on that mentality and offer dedicated support for our branding, graphics and web design projects.”
Cornwell is a classically trained graphic and fine artist hailing from Hagerstown, Maryland. He attended Shepherd University and received his Bachelors of Fine Arts with a focus in graphic design. His experience working with large corporate clients like Chevy Chase Bank and the University of Maryland-Medical Center brings an elite level of design work for Hot Dog Marketing’s small business partners.
“Being a part of a fast-growing company is what excited me about expanding my role here,” Cornwell said. “As we brought more clients onboard it was a good fit for me to start working full-time as the Creative Director so I could focus the necessary energy and devotion to making sure that each client is receiving the best work we can offer. I’m very proud of the work we do here and I think it shows with our clients’ successes.”
In spring of 2015, Hot Dog Marketing brought on Monica Odom as the agency administrator. Soon after, Hot Dog Marketing hired Cameron Shooshtari who began as an intern and was quickly brought on board as a marketing and communications specialist helping with digital marketing and public relations projects. Hot Dog Marketing also has a growing team of dedicated contractors who primarily focus on web and Search Engine Optimization work. Together, they form a cohesive unit of professionals that allows Hot Dog Marketing to offer unparalleled quality work to a growing market of small businesses in the Central Texas area.
