Cardno ChemRisk received an award at the American Industrial Hygiene Conference & Exposition (AIHce) for the fifth consecutive year. The recognition came courtesy of a poster created by six team members: “Pilot Study of Exposures to Airborne Concentrations of Naturally Occurring Diacetyl During Coffee Consumption.” It was authored by Lauren Spicer, Jason Lotter, Chris Comerford, Dr. Anders Abelmann, Dr. Jennifer Pierce, and Dr. Brent Finley.

The team’s poster won 2nd place, Best of Session, and was presented during the Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology, Risk Assessment and Management track on June 2 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

A goal of the AIHce conference is to give attendees the information and strategies they need to protect worker health, an objective that fits perfectly with Cardno ChemRisk’s mission. A member of the Cardno Group, Cardno ChemRisk is a scientific consulting firm specializing in helping clients characterize the health and environmental risk associated with complex exposures involving chemicals, pharmaceuticals or radionuclides in a variety of media and environments.
