MedVision has announced the acquisition of source code technology assets of Health Access Solutions’ products Access Express 5.2, CareMechanix(TM), Flutter(TM), CareSprocket(TM) and CareIntellix(TM)

MedVision has announced the acquisition of source code technology assets of Health Access Solutions’ products Access Express 5.2, CareMechanix, Flutter, CareSprocket and CareIntellix.

The products are used in over 26,000 physician offices serving 2.5M member lives across lines of business that include commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid lives. This technology is used to manage decisions at the point of care under risk-sharing agreements between providers and payers addressing the myriad of administrative functions, process and clinical workflows of extended care teams across diversified platforms and technology.

This step represents continued forward movement for MedVision and will now serve over 5M lives across its platforms. In 2011, the original firms merged into the new and improved MedVision acquiring the core QuickCap application, retaining the brand, and creating a planned development path to web / browser-based technology (QC7). Today, QuickCap v7.0 software is the most cost-effective comprehensive, intuitive, and integrated software suite for managing administrative operations of a health plan, MSO, IPA, PHO, TPA, ACO or delegated physician-lead entities that pay claims, receives or reimburses through capitation, and or is responsible for patient care management and clinical quality improvement.
