The primary goal of Rainbow Safety Network is to keep LGBT youth protected, off the streets and in school. There is hope that they will be reconciled with their family.

Founded in 2015, Rainbow Safety Network Inc is a 501(3)(c) Non-Profit whose mission is to create a national network of safe haven homes for the LGBT youth community. These children are forced to leave their homes because their family cannot tolerate or cope with the child’s sexual or gender orientation. This housing alternative is temporary; from one day to two weeks

Every safe home family is required to go through a thorough background check and must provide documentation that they can provide the temporary housing these kids need. There are no strict financial requirements for the hosting household, but they must be loving, compassionate and patient.

All of Rainbow Safety Network’s funding to provide this much-needed assistance for these children is obtained by the generosity of the general public.
