The mobile application named “nestr” is designed to help consumers find real estate agents in their specified area in addition to searching for properties. This is not a typical real estate app. nestr will display buyer and agent commonalities based on interests identified in various social networks. Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook are included in the application’s first iteration.
The goal for nestr is to help establish longer lasting business relationships by connecting consumers with a real estate agent who shares common interests.
- Creates more meaningful and genuine interactions between the 2 parties, therefore, making a lasting impression on the consumer’s experience.
- Builds referrals and repeat business for the real estate agent.
- The consumer is responsible for making contact with the real estate agent of choice; reducing the number of unsolicited sales calls by real estate agents.
- Gives consumers an opportunity to rate and review the agents who are on the network.
The application is free for consumers and will be sold as a lead generation and marketing tool for real estate agents as a subscription based service. PEMCO Limited will open the application up for beta testing Fall 2015.
