The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP, announced today that Law360 selected two of its trial attorneys for the publication’s inaugural “Trial Aces” series, which highlights the career accomplishments of top trial attorneys in the U.S. Lori Cohen of the firm’s Atlanta office and Barry Richard of the Tallahassee office were two of only 50 attorneys selected nationwide for this recognition.

Cohen, chair of the Pharmaceutical, Medical Device & Healthcare Litigation Practice and Trial Practice Group at Greenberg Traurig, has been trying cases for two decades all over the U.S., in state and federal courts. Cohen has an impressive record of 56 defense verdicts and is widely recognized for her trial expertise. In addition to the current recognition, she was profiled in Law360’s 2012 "Top Female Trial Attorneys," the Financial Times, and The National Law Journal’s “Winning - Successful Strategies From Some of the Nation’s Top Litigators.” The National Law Journal recognized Cohen as one of "The 50 Most Influential Women Lawyers in America” and recognized two of her defense trial victories as “Top Defense Wins.” Cohen has also been recognized by Georgia Super Lawyers magazine as one of its "Top 10 Georgia Super Lawyers" for the last three years, and one of the "Top 100 Georgia Super Lawyers" and "Top 50 Female Georgia Super Lawyers" for the last 11 years. In addition, she is one of a very small group of attorneys selected nationally for inclusion in the 2010-2015 editions of Chambers and Partners USA Guide's national Pharmaceutical Industry Products Liability Table. Chambers and Partners USA Guide also recognized Cohen as a notable practitioner this year on the nationwide Trial Lawyers list.

Richard, a shareholder with the firm’s Litigation Practice , has tried 75 plus cases in his career. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trial Lawyers and the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. Recognized by The National Law Journal in 2006 as one of the "100 Most Influential Lawyers in America," Richard has been identified as a lawyer with the power to "shape public affairs, launch industries, shake things up and get things done." In addition to his trial practice, Richard has successfully argued four major cases before the United States Supreme Court.
