CPAmerica International expands their Regional Accounting & Auditing Boot Camp Program to their members as staff-level training continues to be in high demand.
The Boot Camp Program satisfies a two-fold purpose for member firms by providing required staff-level training and the opportunity for staff to begin building those invaluable relationships among their CPAmerica peers.
Below is the 2015-2016 A&A Boot Camp 1 & 2 schedule:
- 2015 Midwest A&A Boot Camp 2 (Levels 3-5): at CPAmerica host firm Mueller & Co., LLP in Elgin, Ill. on Wednesday, October 28, 2015
- 2015 Southeast A&A Boot Camp 1 (Levels 1 & 2): at CPAmerica host firm Coulter & Justus, P.C. in Knoxville, Tenn., on Monday, December 1, 2015
- 2016 Central Mountain A&A Boot Camp 1 (Levels 1 & 2): at CPAmerica host firm Maxwell Locke in Ritter LLP & Austin, Texas, on Tuesday, January 19, 2016
“Boot Camp 1 is great opportunity to send professionals with one to two years of experience to a learning environment that only uses the AICPA Auditing Standards as the methodology to build an audit from client acceptance to issuance of the audit report,” said Art Winstead, A&A director of CPAmerica. “Boot Camp 2 is designed for professionals with 3-5 years, with emphasis on audit efficiency, reporting and required auditor communications. The classroom approach will use an actual audit client and related audit engagement. Attendees will be exposed to the thought process of what is really important with respect to this engagement, how to report the result of the engagement and how to communicate those results and findings.”
Qualified staff may attend Boot Camps 1 and 2 in the region of their choice. The goal is to let members maximize their time and resources while getting the training that they need.
Each meeting offers eight CPE hours and includes a networking dinner the night before.
