Bambeco Debuts New Additions To Its Healthy Table Collection
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) August 05, 2015 -- Bambeco, the leading brand for sustainable home goods, has introduced five brand new eco-friendly, nontoxic dinnerware and cookware collections.
The Brasserie, Dakota, and Goode Grain collections are all made from porcelain in family-owned factories in Portugal, while the Ensemble and Farmstead collections are made from stoneware in similar factories. Each factory uses an on-site water reclamation facility to reduce its environmental impact, and leftover material is reused in later productions to cut down on waste. Every piece is freezer, microwave, and dishwasher safe, and each is finished with lead-free and cadmium-free glazes. The porcelain factories also support their local communities, providing housing and converting mined land into parks.
The Brasserie Collection boasts a wide range of pieces that allow you to create a complete set for cooking and serving. From casserole dishes to dinner plates, the crisp white Brasserie’s subtle stripe pattern places the spotlight on the culinary creations.
Also crafted from porcelain, the Dakota and Goode Grain collections feature a full array of dishes and serveware. Favor a more subtle, sophisticated style? The Dakota’s ombre stripes have a hand-painted, watercolor quality that is elegant and beautiful. The Goode Grain collection suits a more rustic style, with its lightly textured, tree bark inspired pattern.
The Ensemble Collection is designed for oven-to-table use. Its clean lines make it exceptionally versatile, but what makes it unique is the natural cork trivet included with each piece. Designed for a perfect fit and complementary look, the trivet allows dishes to go straight from cooking to serving without damaging the table’s surface. Cork is also an exceptionally sustainable material because it uses only the bark from trees, allowing a single tree to continue producing new material.
Finally, for down-to-earth style the new Farmstead Collection is a classic made modern. Crafted from stoneware, the organic shapes and dappled color patterns give each piece the feel of a one-of-a-kind rock, pulled straight from the Earth. Stoneware has long been prized for its durability and Bambeco’s is infused with their signature sustainability thanks to their responsible factory in Portugal.
With so much care paid to what goes into food, what food goes into should be just as important.
“We pay such close attention to everything we put into our bodies and feed our families,” Susan Aplin, Bambeco CEO, said. “It just makes sense to prepare and serve our meals in something equally safe and pure. By taking it one step further and making dinnerware that’s environmentally friendly, we’re working to protect people and planet.”
