Richardson, TX (PRWEB) July 29, 2015
United Surgical Partners International. (USPI) recently selected Adolfson & Peterson Construction (A&P) as General Contractor to build a medical campus in Midland, Texas. A&P will manage the construction of a new, 52,000 SF, fully finished medical office building, as well as a 4,424 SF expansion to USPI’s adjacent Texas Surgery Center (TSC).
Ascension Group Architects designed both the medical office building and the TSC renovation and expansion.
“This project aligns very well with our experience base,” said Corbett Nichter, Senior Vice President with A&P. “A&P has a strong resume of Medical Office construction in Texas and has arranged an excellent team of experts to successfully manage this project.”
“We are excited to work with A&P on this important medical development,” said Deann Manchester, Vice President of Real Estate Services with USPI. “The expansion of TSC will enable our physician partners to accommodate their growing surgical practices and the adjacent MOB will provide our health care partner, Midland Memorial Hospital, with a brand new, centrally located office building for their primary care, rheumatology, orthopedic, physical therapy, and imaging practices.”
The project is located near the intersection of Westridge Boulevard and Deauville Boulevard, adjacent to the Scharbauer Sports Complex in west Midland.
Construction is currently scheduled to commence in August 2015 with substantial completion slated for Q2 2016.
