Greenberg Traurig’s Stephanie L. Varela Elected to Florida Supreme Court Historical Society’s Board of Trustees

Stephanie L. Varela, an associate in the Miami Appellate practice of international law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A., has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society. As a member of the Board of Trustees, Varela will serve for a three-year term, beginning in July 2015.

“I am honored to join this esteemed board and look forward to working with others to promote and preserve the rich history of Florida’s judicial system,” Varela said.

At Greenberg Traurig, Varela focuses her practice on appellate law and trial support. She has experience with a variety of substantive legal issues and areas of the law, in cases before state and federal courts, and has lectured and authored publications on various issues.

Varela was recently recognized as a “Rising Star” in the 2015 edition of Florida Super Lawyers magazine. Varela received her law degree from University of Florida Levin College of Law.
