Las Vegas, Nevada (PRWEB) July 30, 2015
Looken is announcing the launch of its new cloud based technology platform. The new technology uses the latest tools and approaches available for Big User, Big Data applications.
Gregory Ross, Web Project Manager at Looken, states “We are expecting Looken.com to be a significant end user destination and therefore the rewrite from our older, low volume implementation introduced last year was a necessary step in our evolution.”
The new platform supports increased emphasis on automating access with its merchant partners’ inventory of products and services. Previously merchants were required to enter their offerings directly into the Looken user interface and from a practical perspective that meant the quantity of offerings available to shoppers was limited to tens of thousands. The company has now created direct feeds to more than 1000 merchants resulting in an aggregate of more than 10 million products and services. The forward looking goal is to increase both the quantity of merchants and their offerings, eventually covering an extremely large and comprehensive array of products and services to rival those from companies such as Amazon and eBay.
Shoppers access this massive amount of offerings through a mobile first user interface design. The web user interface automatically adapts to the size of the shoppers screen making the user experience optimal and consistent from smart-phones, tablets and desktops. No app download is required.
