Jill Rademacher Joins Silicon Valley Community Foundation as Chief Donor Experience Officer
Mountain View, California (PRWEB) July 30, 2015 -- Jill Rademacher has joined Silicon Valley Community Foundation as its chief donor experience and engagement officer, SVCF announced.
In this role, Rademacher will be responsible for enhancing SVCF’s world-class donor services program, which enables donors to deepen their learning, giving and engagement with issues that reflect their values. She will also develop outreach strategies to attract and serve individual and institutional funders, and create opportunities for connections between donors’ philanthropic missions and SVCF’s strategic priorities for serving the community. SVCF works with more than 2,000 individuals, families and companies to facilitate their charitable goals.

Before joining SVCF, Rademacher worked as a philanthropy advisor providing strategic planning, grantmaking and board engagement counsel. She has guided organizations and philanthropists in identifying and connecting with communities in need, both in the United States and abroad. Her experience includes work in the fields of social enterprise, impact investing, and water and sanitation.
Previously, Rademacher served as managing director at Arabella Advisors, where her clients included institutional and family foundations in need of program evaluations, grantee screening and strategy development. Her career also includes five years in South Africa as president of Water For All, a nonprofit organization providing solar-powered water solutions to communities in sub-Saharan Africa. Under her leadership, Water For All expanded its program to Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia, and raised more than $20 million.
Rademacher also served as senior vice president of the Case Foundation, where she helped manage the strategic direction of the foundation’s grantmaking and provided technical assistance to grantees. She started her nonprofit career as director of content development for PowerUP, a nonprofit launched by AOL, Hewlett-Packard, Cisco Systems, the Waitt Family Foundation and the Case Foundation to provide digital literacy skills to underserved youth. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Education from George Mason University.
