EB Medicine, leading publisher of clinical journals, Emergency Medicine Practice, Pediatric Emergency Medicine Practice, and Hospital Medicine Practice, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with AgileMD to release Pediatric Emergency Medicine Practice in a mobile application format available on iPhones, iPads, and Android smartphones and tablets.

“The April 2015 launch of our flagship publication, Emergency Medicine Practice on the mobile app platform was a huge success,” said Stephanie Williford, CEO and Publisher of EB Medicine. “We saw very high adoption rates by our physician subscribers as well as participants in our resident program. And, through collaboration with our technology partner, AgileMD, we have since rolled out both our pediatric emergency medicine and hospital medicine journals via mobile app. It is our goal is to supply clinicians with point-of-care diagnosis and treatment information that will enable them to provide more effective and efficient care for their patients.”

Pediatric Emergency Medicine Practice has been (and will continue to be) delivered in print and digital formats and, starting August 1, is available via the AgileMD iOS and Android applications. Recent topics covered by this journal include: management of children with special needs, myocarditis and pericarditis in the pediatric patient, and endotracheal intubation in pediatric patients, and many more.

The EB Medicine mobile application, powered by AgileMD, provides users with advanced functionality that allows for advanced search of the entire publication library—enabling physicians to access hundreds of topics from their mobile device in the ED. The content is updated in real time so that new clinical topics are available to the users as soon as they are released.
The application also features easy-to-use reference tools, such as bookmarking and note-taking, that enable practitioners to easily follow up on cases and finish research as their schedule allows.

The mission of EB Medicine’s publications and mobile applications is to help physicians and other practitioners continue to build on their clinical expertise and provide the highest level of care possible – while earning much-needed CME credit.
