Capsa Ventures, a real-estate development company that builds sustainable mixed use spaces for urban life, announced today that it will start developing property in East Austin, near Plaza Saltillo Station.

Situated on 2.1 acres at the corner of 4th Street and Chicon Street, the Fourth & project is expected to include approximately 130,000 square feet of live/work condominium units, and street level commercial condominiums. When completed, the 97 residential unit and 42,000 SF commercial project will be among the largest single mixed-use developments in East Austin and will deliver an exceptional urban lifestyle as well as easy access to downtown’ Austin’s employment centers. Additionally Fourth & will be built to the standards of Austin Energy’s Green Building Program.

The Fourth & project is owned by and the project's capital, including both equity and debt are provided through the Butler Family Interests. The Butler Family has previously worked successfully with Rance Clouse on Pease Place and Towns on Cumberland.
