GCF Global Learning Serves 50 Million People Worldwide
Durham, NC (PRWEB) July 31, 2015 -- Since launching its global learning initiative in 2000, Goodwill Community Foundation® (GCF) has served 50 million people with no cost access to a variety of learning tools. Users across the world have the opportunity to learn skills such as English, math, and technology at GCFLearnFree.org®, GCFAprendeLibre.org®, and GCFaprendeLivre.org.
A constant stream of new and relevant lessons fuels the impact of the GCF Global learning websites. For example, in 2015 alone GCFLearnFree.org has launched new lessons in algebra, GED training, SharePoint, Facebook for iPhone, online money tips, and many more. The most popular lessons are often in Microsoft office products like Excel and Word, along with Facebook, Internet Safety, and Computer Basics.

These online learning tools are designed to help anyone with an Internet connection, anywhere, anytime gain the skills needed to improve their life. In conjunction with its mission to provide opportunities for a better life, Goodwill Community Foundation® (GCF) funds it’s Global Learning initiative through the sale of donated goods at GCF Donation Centers & Stores across eastern North Carolina. Currently, GCFLearnFree.org has over 140 topics, 1,395 lessons, 651 videos, 59 interactives and games, and 9 instructor-supported classes.
