Journyx Announces Winner of Spring 2015 Scholarship Program
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) August 03, 2015 -- Journyx today announces the winner of the Spring 2015 Journyx Scholarship: Invest Your Time Wisely program. With more than fifty applicants for this year’s program, Allenrachelle Fontenot was the chosen winner for her essay on the importance of time management in and out of the U.S. Navy, as well as in her ongoing studies in Business.
In her essay, Fontenot lays out what pursuing her degree after having left the Navy means to her, and how time management continually helps to bring clarity to her dreams.
“I've always heard that time was short and that the only way to compensate for its presumed inadequacy is to make the best of it. One of the guaranteed ways of doing this is to practice proper time investment and management,” said Fontenot. “If society would put in more time toward things they actually care about, people would not have to procrastinate or drag themselves out of bed. Investments may involve risks, but how can one reach self-actualization if they do not venture out of their comfort zone? They simply cannot.”

The topic of “Invest Your Time Wisely” was this year’s pick inspired by Journyx project time and expense tracking software, providing data and insight for better understanding of cost allocation and resources.
