Waterville Valley to Offer End of Summer Bash and Chili Challenge
Waterville Valley, NH (PRWEB) August 18, 2015 -- Waterville Valley will celebrate the end of summer with a whole weekend of fun during their End of Summer Bash over the Labor Day weekend, September 5-7.
Enjoy the annual ‘Just Ducky’ annual charity Duck Race on Corcoran Pond with cash prizes for the fastest three ducks. Enjoy live music, children’s and family activities and barbeque. Activities are free, but there is a charge for food and beverages. There will be a fireworks display over Corcoran Pond on Sunday at 8:30 p.m. There will also be a special, free Animal Show on Monday, September 7 at 10 a.m.

17th Annual Chili Challenge Heats up Waterville Valley
Taste the heat at the 17th Annual Chili Challenge & Brews, on Saturday, September 26, in the Town Square with area restaurants competing for the title of “best chili.”
Pay a small sampling fee of $7.50 for adults and $5 for children (12 and under), taste each contenders’ entries, and then cast your vote for your favorite recipe. During and after the contest you can visit the Brew Tent. It will be open until 4 p.m. and feature Pacifico, NegraModelo Draft, and Sierra Nevada. Live music will be provided throughout the event by The Uncle Steve Band.
