Benefit Resource, Inc. (BRI) announced the acquisition of Pacific Benefits Consultants, Inc. and COBRA Plus Administrators, Inc. of Sacramento, CA. This marks the first acquisition for Benefit Resource since it announced its Strategic Partnership and Expansion Initiative in October 2014.

“It was important to find an organization that would add value to our organization beyond adding new clients. We are excited to expand our commitment and resources on the west coast, while strengthening our product offering to include a more seamless in-house COBRA offering,” said Anthony DiBarnaba, President of Benefit Resource.

As Benefit Resource evaluated growth opportunities, a west coast location, which shared its vision and commitment to clients, was key. Benefit Resource plans to maintain the Sacramento office with a focus on client services and COBRA administration.
