Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) August 12, 2015 -- Cooking’s newest “spice girl,” a passionate home cook known simply as Neena, is out to reverse your perception of cooking Indian cuisine. A few common misconceptions are that anything with rich and complex flavors that rely heavily on hard-to-find spices, like her native Indian food, must be difficult and time-consuming to prepare at home, hard and complex to cook, and must be heavy and unhealthy. http://www.kitchencurrymaster.com
Neena is here to help you conquer that mistaken belief with Kitchen Curry Master™. Designed to help home cooks create fresh, authentic and delicious Indian dishes, the kit features a signature spice box and Neena's cookbook, The Simple Cooking Guide, which is packed full of tantalizing, time-tested and easy-to-follow recipes. It’s a swift, organized and fresh approach to Indian cooking.
“My world has always revolved around the rich culinary traditions that are reminiscent of my mother’s native Northern India,” says Neena. “I am very passionate about sharing good cooking and delicious food with others. After moving to the U.S., I realized just how challenging it was to find good Indian cuisine here. So I made it my mission to show aspiring home cooks how easy, fresh and light Indian food can be to prepare and share with friends and family in the comfort of their own homes. All it takes is the right spices and a little guidance.” http://www.kitchencurrymaster.com
Neena cultivated her passion for cooking and good food at a young age. She grew up in London, England, where she did her school work in the kitchen of her family’s Indian restaurant. It was well known for its neighborhood feel and flavorful home-style cooking. She even learned to add and subtract using her mother’s fresh Chapati breads. Once she was old enough, she began working in the restaurant after school. In later years, she went on to cater events and weddings, often serving hundreds of people at a time. The dishes she mastered in the process are the very ones she still cooks and enthusiastically shares today.
After moving to the U.S. with her husband and daughter in 2010, Neena quickly discovered that restaurants sometimes offered authentic Indian cuisine, but home cooks who wanted to prepare something fresh and healthy for themselves were at a particular disadvantage. There was no such thing as one-stop shopping for the right spices, and prices could be outrageous. It was then that she decided something had to change. She was determined to make her native cuisine more accessible to others, and she’s doing just that with her new Kitchen Curry Master™, a concept that marries a ready-to-use curated spice collection and simple expert instruction.
At the heart of Neena’s Kitchen Curry Master is her belief that good cooking and delicious foods are best when shared with others. The kit is also designed to inspire casual cooks to create their own dishes and share them by submitting original recipes to the Kitchen Curry Master website. They will then have the chance to see the creations brought to life in cooking videos, shared online and even featured in future editions of Neena's cookbook, The Simple Cooking Guide.
Neena has appeared on numerous TV shows across the country, including the Daytime Show, Hallmark Home and Family, The Daily Meal, FOX, CBS and many more.
