Eman Patel joins CharityEngine Donor Management Software as Director of Business Development
McLean, VA (PRWEB) August 04, 2015 -- BIS Global, makers of CharityEngine nonprofit management software, has announced the hiring of Eman Patel as Director of Business Development.
Patel, who led fundraising and business development efforts for the International Rescue Committee’s (IRC) direct services programs in the New York Regional Office (NYRO), will lead new business development opportunities for CharityEngine, the donor management, fundraising, events & communications software platform.

Ms. Patel held development positions at the IRC from 2011 through May of 2015. She initially supported the international programs department’s Business Development Unit, including one deployment to the IRC’s Regional Hub in Nairobi to support field office activities during the East Africa drought and famine that affected the region in 2011. Following that, she worked for the IRC US Programs office in New York City, where she was responsible for all private, public and in-kind fundraising activities. In addition, Patel has developed program proposals for global agricultural & food security programs at ACDI/VOCA where she led the start-up of a USAID funded $200 million dollar food security project in Sierra Leone, was a Georgetown University Fellow where she worked at the US Department of Labor, and was a Senior Program Associate at AMIDEAST. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Foreign Affairs, and is a Master of Public Policy in International Policy & Development from Georgetown University.
