FXLoader Cloud Service Now Available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace

The Oracle Cloud Marketplace is a one-stop shop for Oracle customers seeking trusted business applications and service providers offering unique business solutions, including ones that extend Oracle Cloud Applications. Oracle ERP Cloud customers can choose to source rates from FXLoader’s partner providers - OANDA, Xignite, Reuters and the European Central Bank. They configure options for flexible scheduling, combinations of market and central bank rates and triangulation to create cross-rates, then rates are loaded in the background via web services. Users of all modules of Oracle ERP Cloud can then enter foreign currency transactions, including purchase orders, invoices and journals, knowing they will automatically be converted using the latest rates. Financial controllers can perform period end revaluations and translations using accurate rates from sources their auditors are already comfortable with. Local statutory requirements to use specific central bank rates are covered by rates from Xignite, which provides many of those sources within their service.
Oracle Sales Cloud customers can use the same service to keep rates up to date, so that opportunities entered in a foreign currency, for example, are converted to their functional currency.
FXLoader Cloud Service runs on the Oracle Cloud Platform, specifically the Oracle Database Cloud Service. This platform gives FXLoader’s customers the same level of reliability and security as the Oracle SaaS applications they are using. The ease of using https web services on this platform aids the on-boarding of additional rates providers and communication with the Oracle Cloud applications themselves. Oracle runs the database entirely, allowing FXLoader to focus on the integration functionality.
