AgileCraft Hires Lean/Agile Metrics Guru Larry Maccherone
Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 05, 2015 -- AgileCraft, the innovative provider of software for Scaling Agile to the Enterprise, announced today that it has added Larry Maccherone to its rapidly growing team of thought leaders. Larry is responsible for driving AgileCraft’s analytics and metrics strategy, agile process optimization, and advising customers on the best use of agile metrics. In addition, Larry is leading up an effort on a new framework of agile metrics at scale including program and portfolio level.
“We’re excited to have Larry join our expanding team,” said Steve Elliott. “AgileCraft is fully committed to maintaining our market-leading position when it comes to metrics-driven analysis and optimization of agile at the Enterprise, Portfolio, Program and Team levels. I look forward to the contributions Larry will make to the AgileCraft product and to the scaled agile community at large.”
For the past 15 years, Maccherone has been an industry recognized thought leader on lean, agile, metrics, and visualization. During that time, he held various leadership positions including Director of Insights and Analytics at Rally Software where he developed Rally’s agile performance benchmarking capabilities. Before going to Rally, Larry worked at Carnegie Mellon with the Software Engineering Institute for seven years conducting research on software engineering metrics with a particular focus on reintroducing quantitative insight back into the lean and agile communities.
Larry is also an accomplished author and speaker, presenting at major conferences for the lean and agile markets over the last several years.
At Agile 2015 Larry will be presenting two talks at the Gaylord Hotel at Washington National Harbor:
• Monday August 3rd at 2:00 PM EST – How long will it take? Probabilistic forecasting for math mortals.
• Wednesday August 5th at 3:45 PM EST – ‘What?’, ‘So What?’, ‘Now What?’ How to use data to influence others.”
