Women in Construction Talk Role Change at Constructech Technology Day

Four women in the construction industry will converse in a panel discussion about their experiences in the space and the future impacts they would like to make at Constructech’s Technology Day event.

What makes this group of women stand out is their tenacity and willingness to share their knowledge openly, so many other females in construction can be empowered.

Within the last 12-24 months the role of women in construction and emerging tech initiatives have shifted, but how? What are the leading factors that make their contributions so important? Four women in the construction industry will converse in a panel discussion about their experiences in the space and the future impacts they would like to make at Constructech’s Technology Day event.

The women will be speaking on August 27 at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Schaumburg, Ill., starting at 5:10 p.m. until 5:40 p.m.

The panel will comprise of four leading women in the field of construction. Sandra Benson, vice president, ERP system integration, SNC-Lavalin Group, Jennifer Green, chief knowledge and information officer, Pepper Construction, and Claire Rutkowski, chief information officer, MWH Global, will tell their personal stories on rising the ranks in construction and what obstacles they face in this male-dominated business. Additionally, Danielle Dy Buncio, president, VIATechnik, will act as moderator for this session.
