AgileCraft Announces Enhanced Support for SAFe® Enterprise and Value Stream Levels
Austin, TX (PRWEB) August 06, 2015 -- AgileCraft announced today that it has launched full platform support for SAFe® enterprise and value stream levels, becoming the first software vendor to support enterprises looking to adopt these levels of SAFe.
“We’re very pleased to see AgileCraft continue their investment in SAFe, enabling enterprises to scale their agile initiatives across all levels of scale including the team, program, value stream, portfolio, and enterprise layers,” said Dean Leffingwell, creator of SAFe®, and Scaled Agile’s CEO and Chief Methodologist. “AgileCraft continues to push the envelope with early support for SAFe with each iteration of the Scaled Agile Framework”.
AgileCraft also announced support for other emerging SAFe concepts from the SAFe for Lean Systems Engineering Preview 2, continuing to showcase commitment to leading the software community in support of SAFe. Capabilities that are in direct support of emerging SAFe concepts include:
• Support for newly added Enterprise level
• Support for newly added, expandable Value Stream / Capability level
• Support for newly added customer icon to facilitate continuous improvement and customer interaction during the development process
• Support for newly added Kanban icons at all levels of scale
• Support for new enabler types beyond the architecture epic
• Support for new value and performance measurement capabilities
“We are excited to serve the Scaled Agile community and know from experience that SAFe is a great choice for organizations looking to scale agility to the Enterprise” said Steve Elliott, CEO of AgileCraft. “Scaling agile is not only a function of blending different levels of agile maturity, different estimation methods, different team tools, and different cadences but also is about enabling enterprises to adopt and blend multiple methods of development to match the way they do business.”
Built from the top-down to support agile at scale, AgileCraft also recently announced the launch of its Team Reconciliation and Extraction engine (T-Rex) designed to allow organizations with multiple team-level tools (like JIRA, Rally, TFS, VersionOne or LeanKit) to aggregate and normalize data for use at the program, portfolio, value stream and enterprises levels.
