FMCSA Deputy Administrator Daphne Jefferson To Keynote Women In Trucking Accelerate! Conference

Plover, WI (PRWEB) August 04, 2015 -- Jefferson will present “How Regulations Impact Our Industry” to an audience comprised of executives interested in promoting workforce diversity and in promoting women to executive and driver positions.

With more than two decades of industry experience in a myriad of positions, Jefferson brings unparalleled experience in the industry. Prior to her new appointment in February, Jefferson most recently served as Counselor to the Chief of Staff at the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) in the immediate Office of the Secretary. She also has served in other positions, including Deputy Assistant Secretary for Administration for DOT, Associate Administrator for Administration for the FMCSA at DOT and she has worked with the Federal Aviation Administration, Air Traffic Control Service, and NASA.

“There is a lot of excitement around the conference and in the mission of our organization.
