Seasoned Utility Industry Executive to Join BRIDGE Energy Group to Support Company’s Growth

Shannon brings over 20 years of experience across Strategy, Sales, Marketing and Operations leadership in helping customers meet emerging grid modernization, grid reliability, grid management and grid security challenges.

Shannon joins BRIDGE Energy Group after serving as the VP of Oracle’s North American Utilities and Energy Business Unit. During his tenure at Oracle, the sales organization delivered record revenues, doubled in size and was restructured to deliver better value to their customers while establishing a platform for sustained exponential growth.
Prior to joining Oracle, Shannon held multiple leadership positions across both large and emerging companies. He spent over 8 years at IBM via their acquisition of MRO Software. Various roles included leading teams that had direct revenue responsibility for the IBM Software portfolio for major accounts. Shannon led the Sales and Marketing due diligence teams for several acquisition targets and drove the global sales enablement for IBM’s acquisition of MRO/Maximo.
Prior to IBM, Shannon served as General Manager for Peregrine Systems (acquired by HP), Group Vice President of Services for Digital Paper, Director of Business and Consulting Services for GTE, and Manager for Arthur Andersen Business Consulting Group.
Shannon has served on the George Washington University Board of Advisors and as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing at George Washington University. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for CLT Joules, an energy incubator serving 10 start-ups, and at MARA, a youth sports organization serving over 2,000 children in the Charlotte, NC area.
