EmSpring™ Corporation’s Kathy Rheaume recently earned the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation, a specialty designation focusing on health care and other group benefits. Rheaume, who became a partner in the employee benefits advisory and HR services firm earlier this year, is the Senior Self-Funded Account Manager and Vice President of Client Services. She adds the GBA to her employee benefits credentials, which include the Certified Self Funding Specialist® (CSFS®) designation through the Health Care Administrators Association (HCAA). The GBA designation is a credential awarded through the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans.

"Kathy’s focus is always on how to better support our employer clients. She’s the first person they call for all things benefits,” says Dan Fisher, EmSpring CEO. “We count ourselves extremely fortunate to have her as our colleague and partner.”

Rheaume, who’s been with EmSpring for 16 years, primarily works with the firm’s large self-funded groups and with employers sponsoring complex benefit plans. She’s a long-time member of the Yakima Valley Human Resource Association, having served as Vice President of Finance, Membership and as Communications Director. She is also actively involved in the South Central Workforce Development Council, where she sits on the Executive Board. Rheaume shares her time between EmSpring’s Bellevue, Yakima and Spokane offices.
