88% of Survey Respondents Use Retail Mobile Apps, With a Significant Number Using Apps to Browse Via Mobile and Buy In-Store

Apptentive works with some of the largest retailers in the world, and understanding industry trends in mobile app usage behavior is imperative. The report provides a fresh look into how consumers are using retail mobile apps, how often, and what it means for retailers.

Key findings:
<> 88% of respondents use retail mobile apps
<> 71% of respondents who use retail mobile apps have used them to browse then purchase in-store at least once in the last month
<> 74% of respondents who use retail mobile apps plan to use them to do at least some of their holiday shopping this year
<> 51% of respondents who use retail mobile apps use an app while shopping in-store
