METIS and DroneShield Partnership for DOD and Special Operations Markets
Arlington, VA (PRWEB) August 08, 2015 -- METIS Solutions, LLC announced today a strategic partnership with DroneShield, LLC. “DroneShield” for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Special Operations markets.
DroneShield is a drone detection and response company based in Washington, D.C. that provides advanced commercial drone detection and warning systems. Their mission centers on providing a wide range of security solutions against drones through a unique system of acoustic detection sensors (Patent Pending) that allows for “high detection rates with low false alarms.” In addition, this acoustic technology allows the DroneShield sensors to detect drones that may be flying to GPS coordinates rather than radio frequency controlled or that may be invisible to radars.
The METIS-DroneShield partnership will provide services that range from designing, installing, and configuring to maintaining the hardware and updating databases with the latest drone models for Department of Defense and Special Operations clients.
