Nutritional Products International, a company that handles the global marketing and distribution of a wide variety of nutritional products, announced it has promoted Jeff Fernandez to the position of Executive Vice President.
Fernandez had most recently held the role of Vice President of Sales and Marketing, with previous roles including Director of Global Sales and Vice President of Global Procurement. He will continue to assist the company with its sales and marketing processes, but now has more of a supervisory role, overseeing many important aspects of NPI’s processes.
“Jeff is a consummate professional, and he is perfectly suited for this new role,” said Mitch Gould, CEO of Nutritional Products International. “Over the years, Jeff has forged many important sales relationships with big-time vendors and helped our clients to achieve new levels of notoriety within their markets. Fernandez has more than 25 years of experience in the retail business, having worked in the areas of management, operations and purchasing with some of the largest retail names in the country. He worked with Amazon.com and Walmart to drastically improve business revenues and bottom lines, especially in the fields of personal care and health products, which makes him uniquely suited for the work performed by NPI.
Fernandez’s relationships with many high-powered retailers in the industry have been extremely valuable to NPI in his time with the company. With Fernandez ascending to this new role, those relationships and Fernandez’s keen knowledge of the industry will continue to be a valuable asset to NPI’s many clients.
