The CFO’s responsibilities are evolving. Technological innovation in the finance function is continuing apace, driving globalization and enabling the automation of many of the bookkeeping roles that have traditionally been dealt with by the CFO. Subsequently, they are now being looked upon by CEOs to act more as a business partner, to add value and drive revenue within their organizations.

At the flagship CFO Rising West summit in San Francisco this October, we have a number of the most respected CFOs in their fields discussing the issues that are having the most impact on their role. International Events Director, Aaron Fraser, says of the summit: “It’s a unique event amongst a host of CFO events. Covering CFO Innovation, Corporate Finance Tech and Compliance & Risk, the event encompasses key issues for the modern CFO." Among the many speakers is CFO of GrubHub, Adam DeWitt, who will speak about the vital role that data can play in aiding finance leaders with their strategic and operational responsibilities. Ivan Zarur, the CFO of McDonald’s Brazil, will give a presentation on the measures that have been put in place by the fast food chain to deal with their well-publicized struggles, as well as looking at the wider issues affecting Brazil’s economy. You also have the opportunity to hear from a number of other high calibre CFOs. Playboy’s Christopher Pachler will look at how the role of the CFO is merging with that of the COO, while Mashable, Westfield, DocuSign, and many more of the biggest names in the corporate world will guarantee valuable insights from a wide variety of industries.

Not only do we have industry leading speakers, the scheduled networking drinks and coffee breaks will also afford access to an exceptionally high level of attendees - 96% work at director level or above – providing the opportunity to make connections and share knowledge with people at the pinnacle of their profession.

Both days will be divided into three separate tracks following the lunch break, covering everything to do with the CFO. Panel sessions will take place on both afternoons, bringing together speakers from the day’s presentations for interactive sessions that will give those present the chance to get answers to their questions from experts in the finance function. There will also be discussion topics put to those on the panel to get a full range of perspectives on a variety of topics.

Take advantage of our early bird offer, which will see you save a total of $200 off all 2 day passes. The offer ends August 14, and there are a limited number of passes available, so be sure to secure one today to avoid disappointment.
