Novae Group PLC to Attend the CHART-Exchange Event
Claymont, DE (PRWEB) August 11, 2015 -- Novae Group PLC has joined the growing number of London markets who will participate in the inaugural CHART-Exchange event scheduled in October 2015. Novae writes both insurance and reinsurance in the property, casualty, marine, aviation and political risk markets. In 2014, the Group wrote £638.5 million ($998.3 million) in gross written premiums – the highest in its history.
Novae will be represented by Toby Gorman, Head of U.S. Property Facilities, Ross Louden, Deputy Divisional Head of Casualty and John Write, Coverholder Manager.
“Novae’s corporate objective is to be an innovative specialty insurer,” said Glenn Clark CPCU, CHART-Exchange early adopter. “They have sought to achieve this goal through a combination of expert underwriting, consistent performance and dynamic capital management. The results posted by the group last year are a testament to the level of hard work and commitment they’ve made.”
Glenn added, “We truly appreciate Novae’s decision to participate in the inaugural CHART-Exchange event. The underwriting knowledge and market expertise possessed by the group’s representatives will contribute significantly to the overall quality of the meeting."
“Novae deeply values its long-standing U.S. coverholder business," said Louden. “The opportunity to develop new relationships through CHART is not to be missed. The entrepreneurial spirit of many in attendance will mirror that of Lloyd’s syndicates such as Novae. The ability of agents and producers, who are closest to their business, to spot niches and under-served market places is something that is almost impossible to replicate from London, and it is that expertise that Novae wishes to support and develop”.
The CHART(Cover Holders And Risk Takers)-Exchange was established in 2015 to serve as a forum through which London markets could interact directly with U.S.-based insurance agencies. The first meeting will take place on October 12-14 at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. The meeting agenda will include a series of workshops designed to initiate constructive dialogue and information sharing on an array of insurance-related issues. Breakout sessions will address topics such as regulatory compliance, the appointment process and new product submission strategies. Click here to view a brief informational video.
