Selling Power Magazine Releases 2015 “50 Best Companies to Sell For” List

Selling Power has released its 2015 list of the 50 Best Companies to Sell For. Inclusion in the list gives companies a competitive advantage when hiring top sales professionals.

Selling Power magazine, a leading periodical for sales managers and executives, is pleased to announce the release of its annual list of the 50 Best Companies to Sell For. Find the list at http://ow.ly/R3jYJ.

This is the fifteenth year the corporate research team at Selling Power has identified and ranked the best companies to sell for among the top sales forces in the United States. Selling Power founder Gerhard Gschwandtner says that, despite sweeping changes in the sales profession in recent decades, the definition of excellence remains consistent.

“For many sales organizations, the sales process and buying cycle look drastically different from those of ten or twenty years ago,” says Gschwandtner. “But selling itself still requires dedication, perseverance, confidence, and the ability to stay positive in the face of adversity. The companies that appear on the Selling Power 50 Best Companies to Sell For list understand that and create a culture to support their salespeople in every way possible.”

Companies are evaluated in the following areas:

  • Customer Growth and Retention
  • Hiring, Compensation, Sales Training, and Enablement
  • Company Recognition and Reputation

The list includes companies of all sizes, with sales forces ranging from fewer than 100 salespeople to companies with sales-force numbers in the thousands. In cases of a tie in the overall point rankings, the companies were listed in alphabetical order.

The top 10 companies on the list represent a variety of industries, including technology, software, financial services, textile, and pharmaceutical. ClearSlide, Hormel Foods, Paychex Inc., and Undertone are newcomers to the top 10. Six companies (SunGard, Heartland Payment Systems, Hilti, Northwestern Mutual, UniFirst, and Iron Mountain) appeared in the top 10 rankings in 2014, as well.
