Cartika Brings Real-Time Analytics To Its Hosting Platforms
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) August 11, 2015 -- Cartika, a leading Canadian provider of shared, dedicated, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service hosting, has announced the introduction of New Relic's powerful real-time analytics tools across its range of hosting solutions.
For Cartika's system administrators and customers, insight into the behavior of applications and servers is key to maximizing the benefits of the Cartika platform's renowned uptime and performance.
With the integration of New Relic's analytics solutions, the company's system administrators will have the data they need to proactively address potential issues for managed hosting customers, including the identification of bad plugins, poorly optimized code, and other day-to-day issues faced by high-traffic online businesses.
Customers will be able to access detailed real-time information about resource use and performance in the Cartika Portal, empowering them to make informed decisions about database, application, and server optimization.
“We're excited to be bringing New Relic to Cartika because it will give us greater insight than ever before into the operation of our servers, which will allow us to immediately address performance issues and offer customers detailed consultations about opportunities for optimization and greater efficiency,” says Andrew Rouchotas, Cartika CEO, “We're proud that we've been able to meet and exceed our 99.9% uptime SLA for the past 15 years, but we're constantly working to improve our platform and bring new value to customers — New Relic gives us the data we need to provide an even better service.”
Cartika is introducing New Relic in a phased roll-out. New Relic analytics are already available for shared and reseller hosting customers, enabling Cartika's system administrators to monitor CPU, RAM, IOPS, and database performance to quickly identify and mitigate performance and optimization issues.
The hosting company will soon introduce New Relic analytics to its other hosting products, including managed dedicated, virtual private server, and cloud server plans, which will provide real-time and historic information of server resource use and application performance metrics. Cartika's Infrastructure-as-a-Service server and cloud plans will include the ability to integrate New Relic with every VM, in addition to free server monitoring and customized notifications.
In the future, Cartika Managed and IaaS customers will be offered the opportunity to upgrade to the New Relic Enterprise Edition, which offers a range of advanced metrics, log analysis tools, and granular database query intelligence.
