Jeremy Burrus, Ph.D., Joins Professional Examination Service as Principal Research Scientist
NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) August 11, 2015 -- Professional Examination Service, the most experienced organization in professional licensure and certification services, today announced that Jeremy Burrus, Ph.D., has joined the organization as principal research scientist working in the Center for Innovative Assessments, where he reunites with colleague Richard D. Roberts, Ph.D., the Center’s vice president and chief scientist.

In addition to working five years at ETS as a research scientist in the Center for Academic and Workforce Readiness and Success, Burrus spent the past year at ACT, where he was a principal research scientist in the Career Transitions Research Department. He has published numerous articles and won several awards, including a Presidential Award from ETS in 2011.

In addition to his research in the field of workforce readiness, Burrus has conducted research on Cross-Cultural Competence, Cognitive Biases and K-12 Student and Teacher Noncognitive Skills.
Burrus earned his doctor of philosophy in social psychology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne. He was also a post-doctoral research scholar at Columbia University Business School.
