The ISE® Lions found the product innovative and the pitch extremely effective, ultimately selecting CloudPassage as the Gazelle Champion. Sweet said the event was a must-attend for anyone interested in emerging security technology and his team was thrilled to be named Gazelle Champion for 2015.
"The ISE® Lions’ Den has proven to be a venue of high interest to the security community, showcasing top emerging security technologies to industry-leading security executives,” said Sweet. “For the competing companies, the Lions' Den provides an opportunity to hone their value propositions and to get deep, meaningful feedback on their concepts from the real buying community."
Runners up included TruSTAR, the industry’s first global anonymous cyber incident-sharing platform, and Shape Security, an advanced technology that disables the attack capability of malware, botnets and scripts resulting in a comprehensive defense against the most serious website breaches. Runners-up received passes to attend an ISE® Executive Forum & Awards Gala during 2015 valued at $5,000.
Other participating Gazelles included GuruCul, LemonFish, LightCyber, SignalSense and ThreatTrack Security.
“We created the ISE® Lions Den & Jungle Lounge to connect emerging companies with buyers, investors, and channel partners in an effort to solve business needs for all involved,” said Marci McCarthy, CEO & president of T.E.N. “This year, guests were invited to be our audience as the Gazelles pitched their solutions, which enabled participants an even greater reach and presence.”
The ISE® Lions Den was held with a concurrent reception-style “Jungle Lounge,” which featured Vegas-style passed hors d’oeuvres, signature top-shelf cocktails and space for Gazelles to network with potential customers, investors and partners.
