In addition to day-to-day practice management, Jennifer has provided consulting services to veterinary hospitals since 2004 and has spoken at local, regional and national continuing education conferences throughout the United States.
Jennifer earned her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager designation in 2001, followed by earning her Professional in Human Resources credentials in 2008. She will earn a Bachelor of Science in Business (Human Resource Management focus) in September of this year. From 2003 - 2009, she was honored to be on the Board of Directors for the Veterinary Hospital Managers Association. In the past, she has also participated in committee work for the American Animal Hospital Association. Currently, Jennifer participates in the Practice Management Special Interest Group for VetPartners. Jennifer enjoys giving back to the profession about which she is truly passionate.
When considering the next move in her veterinary career, Jennifer said, “With my strong desire to assist hospitals and have a positive impact on the area of veterinary practice management, Summit Veterinary Advisors provided me with the perfect opportunity. As a Hospital Administrator and consultant, I knew of their strong reputation and wanted to be part of a well-respected and forward thinking consulting team.”
Summit Veterinary Advisors’ owner and Senior Consultant, Leslie Mamalis, MBA, MSIT, CVA met Jennifer several years ago through VetPartners, an association of veterinary consultants and advisors. Leslie states, “As a Hospital Administrator who has successfully facilitated increased practice growth and profitability while also enhancing the foundation the hospital is built upon, Jennifer will offer our clients the additional managerial and operational support that they desire.”
Jennifer joins Leslie, Michael Hargrove, DVM, MBA, and Lisa Gibson Burns in helping veterinarians and practice managers increase practice profitability and value.
